Huggä
Hugga property — creator retreat

A Hugga Program

Creative
Quarterly.

Four times a year, we host a small cohort of creators in the Hocking Hills woods to make beautiful work, meet each other, and slow down.

The Idea

Creative Quarterly isn’t a content factory. It’s a retreat. We bring a few thoughtful creators to Hugga for a long weekend, give them everything they need to do their best work, and get out of the way. The footage they leave with is theirs. The friendships, ours to share.

What’s Included

Everything, and on us.

Cabin stay

A private bed in one of our four Scandinavian-inspired cabins on 42 acres.

All meals

Questions

Good ones to ask.

What does it cost?

Nothing. Travel to Columbus, lodging, meals, and programming are all on us. In exchange, you grant Hugga rights to use photos and videos created during the retreat for our own marketing, with attribution where appropriate.

Who else will be there?

A small, curated cohort — usually three to five creators across photo, video, and editing, plus our content team. We pick groups that we think will create well together.

How are people selected?

Applications are open, but each cohort is curated. We're looking for distinctive points of view, a body of work we can point to, and a real interest in the kind of slow, intentional content we're making.

Where is Hugga?

Hocking Hills, Ohio — about an hour southeast of Columbus. We shuttle from CMH on arrival and return.

When is the next session?

Summer 2026. Specific dates go out to accepted applicants.

What about food restrictions?

We accommodate everything. Tell us on the application and our chef plans around it.
