Hugga sits on 42 private acres in the heart of Hocking Hills, Ohio — one of the most scenic stretches of landscape in the Midwest. The property weaves through old-growth forest, open meadow, and a quiet creek corridor, connected by a network of trails built for unhurried exploration.
These trails are yours alone during your stay. No crowds, no shared paths. Just the land, the light through the trees, and wherever the morning takes you.
Hugga is also a short drive from Hocking Hills State Park, home to Cedar Falls, Old Man's Cave, and Ash Cave — some of Ohio's most iconic natural landmarks. The region offers some of the best hiking in the state, available whenever you want to venture beyond the property.

An evening with Chef John Lawrence
Hugga partners with John Lawrence, a Columbus-based chef, to offer private in-cabin dining experiences during your stay. John sources seasonally, cooks on-site, and handles everything from setup to cleanup — so all you have to do is sit down, slow down, and eat well.
Choose from a rotating list of seasonal menus, each designed around a distinct culinary tradition. John works with you directly to select a direction and accommodate any dietary needs.
